Poster for local motion.

I have used this photo of a good looking bus because I think buses are prime examples
http://www.photosforclass.com/search/bus

I then put the photo of the bus into photoshop to cut it out from the background. The next step for me was to open up indesign which is what my finished product will be made on. I am starting my background today 16th of January.

I lost the work that I had done for the original poster so I started making another one I then looked around on the Local Motion to increase my imagination and get ideas for my poster. I started off with a basic picture of an interior bus I got this of www.pixbay.com

Firstly I had to find an image on pixbay which is a website where you can use free image.
Then I had to find the image of the local motion logo on the local motion website.

I then edited the picture of the bus firstly I changed the brightness and then the next step was to add text and the logo of the local motion company. I got this image from the website http://www.dothelocalmotion.co.uk/ I saved the image and then click and dragged it to my poster.

I also blurred parts of the image to make the words stick out.

Completing the audio vox pop for local motion

The date is the 12th of December and the audio vox pop is completed

A few weeks ago we went out to audio record students around Middlesbrough college about travelling for daily motion which is a charity company that are wanting people to stop using cars as much and start using public transport, walking and cycling.

Firstly we got all our recording that we got of the students from Middlesbrough College that we made a few weeks back. All of the clips were not up to standard cases of swearing and uhms and arms we also in the audio recordings so we had to edit out all the bad sounds and stutters.

Today me Katie and Owen went through the final steps of the audio vox pop by putting all the finished audio clips together to make one big clip. Next week I will add the sound to a video track of the local motion logo in the background. I found this weeks task quite hard as it was quite confusing merging all the clips together. But got there after all. After putting them into a multi track and exporting them into a wav we then sent the clip into Imovie because simple editing was need. We put the audio into Imovie and then add the local motion logo into it and finally line up the photo with the audio so image showed for the full time of the audio recording. Then we sent it to kevin.

Looking at equipment

Today in my page layout lesson I will ask my class friends questions and look at equipment to use.

We looked at zoom microphones and how to use them. This will be helpful with our audio vox pop, a Sony HXR-m2000 and a Canon Video camera. The next task will be to do a series of interviews and vox pops

Page Layout

This production is for Local Motion in Darlington. We have been asked to promote other ways to get to work or college/uni by using different transport other than cars, such as busses, trains or cycling.

For the group I will be doing a video vox pop and audio vox pop which is asking people about their opinions on the subject. And I will video and tape the outcomes.
Production diary.

Talk about the benefits of getting public transport or walking/ cycling instead of using a car

I will be asking my class 5 questions. And today we are looking at the equipment that we need.
